Hello Siuslaw High School Class of 2010 (and fellow readers)
Your Senior Class Vice President here. The year is 2020! Can you believe it has been 10 years since we graduated?!Unfortunately, due to the current pandemic sweeping our nation, we are unable to hold our reunion as planned. 11-year reunion anyone? However, I see no reason why we can't catch up now and see what everyone has been up to. Sneak Peak... our class has had some pretty amazing accomplishments!
Let's narrow it down. We are living in 14 states and 3 countries. Many classmates are also still in Florence, helping to make our community a better place. There are some astounding career goals that have been met and more adorable pets and babies than I can count. We even have a pregnancy announcement! Before I spoil it all, I'll let you take a look for your self. And of course... Go Vikings!

After High School... I stayed in Florence for a few more years and moved to Eugene in 2015.
My current job... I am a dough roller at Abby's Pizza.
My family... has been my best friend, that I live with, and a doggo who only wants human food. I was in a relationship until 2016.
My favorite memory at Siuslaw... T-Rob welling out "CATLEDGE!" every time I entered Mrs. Campbell's math class. Good times.
Extra Fun Facts... I finally rode in a plane which was on my bucket list. I live in internet culture, playing video games when I'm not working. I have plans to actually get into the gaming industry and am considering live streaming part time on twitch.tv.

I'm Living... in Florence, Oregon.
After High School... I went to job corps for like 6 months and then came home and couldn't find any trade work so I moved around just to experience life and different places.
My current job... Currently looking for work but the last 2 years I worked at Sand Dune Frontier as a big buggy driver giving tours.
My family... At 20 I got married, had my first kid, and 2 years later I had gotten a divorce. By 2017 I had another child so my kids are 2 and 7. They will be 3 and 8 both in August. My son's birthday is the 16th and my daughter's the 29th. I currently have a girlfriend. We just got together!
My favorite memory at Siuslaw... Honestly I don't really remember much of high school. I was partying all the time or never in school but if I had to pick something it would be all the fun I had in auto shop and tearing things apart and fixing them.
Extra Fun Facts... I've done a lot for my health and lost over 100 pounds. In high school I was 383 pounds and now I weight 275! I also have 22 tattoos!
I just wanted to say I hope all my class mates are doing great and following your dreams. Most of y'all helped form me into who I am, good or bad. I thank you for that!

Extra Fun Facts... 1. I spent 2014 to 2019 in Japan visiting a bunch of countries to help in humanitarian efforts.
2. I miss Coastal Oregon weather and always dream of being back there.

After High School... I met my husband a few weeks after graduation! I worked with him at his dry cleaners and then we bought a carpet cleaning business. After doing that with him for a couple years we had a child and I became a stay at home mom for 3 years. I decided to go back to work and worked at Wind Drift Gallery. In 2018 I started working for my mother-in-law at Holloway & Associates and became a notary.
My current job... Administrative Assistant at Holloway & Associates, LLC CPA's
My family... Greg Holloway is my husband, married 6 years. We have one son, Khyler (6 years old), a white German Shepard named Kimbo (10 years old), and a cat named Luna (2 years old).

After High School... I graduated from Oregon State University with 2 degrees in Finance and Accounting. I moved out to Atlanta after graduation to work for Georgia Pacific.
My current job... Business Process Manager at Koch Global Solutions.
My family... No one important enough to name except for my dog, Maverick. :) I'm currently banned from Hinge dating app.
My favorite memory at Siuslaw... Barn parties for sure.

After High School... I started working at gas stations and continued to volunteer as a firefighter. I have since moved to Nebraska with my family. My education includes EMT basic, highway architecture and plan reading, and bridge architecture and plan reading.
My current job... Nebraska Department of Transportation Highway Construction Inspector.
My family... I'm married to my wife, Cynthia, who works for the Creek Valley School District here in Nebraska. I have 3 children age 9, 12, and 13. My youngest, Wyatt, has autism and has a very high IQ. My middle child, Michael, is a hyper person, like myself. My daughter, Destiney, just started her freshman year in high school and is smart and athletic.
My favorite memory at Siuslaw... was watching the Vikings play football.

After High School... I escaped the Jehovah's Witnesses, built some amazing friendships with people, and was fortunate to travel around the world multiple times, both solo and with friends.
My current job... Strategist at Nike World Headquarters.
My family... living that single life! For now...
My favorite memory at Siuslaw... Band class- the friends I made and the experiences I had with them. My home environment at the time wasn't the greatest, so having this outlet was super helpful for me.
Extra Fun Facts... I recently took up backpacking! Thinking of doing the PCT next year. I still hang out with some people from Siuslaw High (Ty Mielke and DJ Anderson).

I'm Living... in Portland, Oregon. I've lived here for the past 6 years.
After High School... I attended the University of Oregon where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Human Physiology with a minor in chemistry and an emphasis in biochem. I graduated in 2014 and quickly moved up to Portland.
My current job... I am the Administrative Assistant for the Experience Team at Nike. The Experience Team is responsible for receiving visitors and guests that come to the Nike World Headquarters and is the front line for all reception work as well as reporting the maintenance issues of each building. Total, there are about 111 people on the team who all have access to me at any time for pretty much any reason and together we bring an elevated experience to the Nike employees. I work on their main campus in Beaverton and take care of all the odds and ends of projects and keep everything running.
My family... Well, I don't have a spouse or significant other but I did just sign a lease on a new apartments by myself, so I have that going for me. Next step is a pup!
My favorite memory at Siuslaw...is basically anything that happened in the band room! Also, the guitar hero competition holds a special place in my heart. :)
Extra Fun Facts... My friends say that I make the best guac in the whole world and I also don't know my left from my right.

I'm Living... in Washington, D.C.
After High School... I studied Liberal Studies/European Studies at Oregon State University. As part of my degree, I spent a year living and studying in Germany. I loved the language and country so much that, after graduating, I decided to move back and enroll in a master's program. Over the next two years, I completed my M.A. in Globalization and studied in Germany, Argentina, and India. I relocated to Washington, D.C. after finishing my program and have lived and worked in D.C. ever since. Although it doesn't compare to the Oregon Coast, D.C. is a surprisingly beautiful city.
My current job... I work for a non-profit that aims to strengthen democracy around the world by supporting political parties and local organizations, monitoring elections, promoting human rights, and encouraging citizens to participate in politics. I focus on Southeast Asia and have the pleasure of working with inspiring activists and human rights defenders from various countries.
My family... My boyfriend and I met while I was studying in Argentina! We've been together for nearly 6 years. He's German and currently lives in Vienna, Austria.

After High School... I got a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in the US before moving back to France permanently in August 2017.
My current job... Account Manager at Prenax.

My favorite memory at Siuslaw... is my first football game at SHS against Newport.

My family... I've been with my girlfriend for a year now. No animals.
My favorite memory at Siuslaw... The graduation ;) Probably the day everyone did the soda chug at the Pep Assembly and everyone was projectile vomiting.
Extra Fun Facts... I've been traveling and have a trip planned for Bali at the end of September which probably won't happen. Other than that just riding motorcycles and picking up hobbies like ceramics and wood working.

My family... I married my husband, Drew Gauderman, July 6, 2014- gained bonus daughters Isabella & Olivia. October 23, 2016 we welcomed our daughter, Carter Jo, into the world (best day of my life). We have a zoo! A German Rottweiler named Bear, a Siamese Cat named Mr. Meowgi (Meow- Carter Jo named him), 8 chickens, a chipmunk who is 8 years old, and 2 fish.

My family... I have one daughter. She just turned 2 on July 10th. Her name is Annukai Yahanna Yearout which means Goddess, Warrior, and Unity.

I'm Living... as a resident of Oregon but I'm currently in Oklahoma. I have lived in West Virginia, Colorado, and Washington since graduation. I travel for work!
After High School... I went to college in West Virginia at Meredith Manor International Equestrian Centre where I graduated after 3 years with high honors and received a certification as a Horse Trainer. I then worked in Colorado for a handful of performance horse trainers who specialized in horse training from Reigning horses to Cutting horses to Reined Cow horses. I lived and worked there for 5 years. I moved to Washington to work for a cutting horse trainer where I then changed my profession to my current occupation as a Welder Helper for Pipeline Rig Welders and different companies. I have worked on pipeline in Colorado, Montana, Kansas, and Oklahoma!
My current job... I am currently a Welder Helper.
My family... I am not married but I am dating a welder. I trained a dog (shiba inu mix) that became a service emotional support animal for my mom and I have a toy Aussie with me now.
My favorite memory at Siuslaw... Softball season was probably my favorite thing about high school

After High School... I attended Oregon State University/Linn Benton Community College. I received a Bachelor Degree in Forest Operations Management with a minor in Business and Entrepreneurship.
My current job... is owner of Duman inc. excavation and hauling.
My family... I married my beautiful wife Celia in 2018, followed by our first son Henry Duman in March of 2019. We are excited to share that we are expecting another little Duman in January of 2021. After High School... I went to job corps for like 6 months and then came home and couldn't find any trade work so I moved around just to experience life and different places.

My family... At 20 I got married, had my first kid, and 2 years later I had gotten a divorce. By 2017 I had another child so my kids are 2 and 7. They will be 3 and 8 both in August. My son's birthday is the 16th and my daughter's the 29th. I currently have a girlfriend. We just got together!
My favorite memory at Siuslaw... Honestly I don't really remember much of high school. I was partying all the time or never in school but if I had to pick something it would be all the fun I had in auto shop and tearing things apart and fixing them.
Extra Fun Facts... I've done a lot for my health and lost over 100 pounds. In high school I was 383 pounds and now I weight 275! I also have 22 tattoos!

After High School... I did a Discipleship Training School the fall after high school which ended with a 12 week mission trip to Uganda and Kenya. (I missed the first two weeks and met my team in African after my passport arrived late.)
My current job... is in loan support at Oregon Pacific Bank. I've been there a year this time around. I worked in the same department/position for 2 1/2 years previously before becoming a stay at home mom for a year and a half.
My family... My husband and I will have been married for 5 years this December. Our first daughter, Arabella, will be 3, September 25th and our second daughter, Lydia, is due September 2nd (we'll have her c-section scheduled for the last week of August). We have two puppies (almost a year old) from the same litter at a rescue shelter. They are mutts with pit and lab in them and possibly some collie. We also have one cat around 6 years old. She was part of a stray litter.

My current job... I am the Administrative Assistant for the Experience Team at Nike. The Experience Team is responsible for receiving visitors and guests that come to the Nike World Headquarters and is the front line for all reception work as well as reporting the maintenance issues of each building. Total, there are about 111 people on the team who all have access to me at any time for pretty much any reason and together we bring an elevated experience to the Nike employees. I work on their main campus in Beaverton and take care of all the odds and ends of projects and keep everything running.
My family... Well, I don't have a spouse or significant other but I did just sign a lease on a new apartments by myself, so I have that going for me. Next step is a pup!

I'm Living... in Dallas, Texas.
After High School... I went to the University of Pennsylvania for my undergrad and majored in Biology. In college, I spent my summers doing biological fieldwork, which I loved. I was blessed to study grasslands in northern Mongolia and owl monkeys and capybaras in Argentina. I studios abroad in Costa Rica in a program that was focused on tropical ecology. At the time, biology was the only thing I could see myself doing long term. After college, I spent 6 months in Namibia studying wild baboons in the desert. While I loved studying animals, I concluded that becoming a wildlife biologist was too risky of a career path.
I changed course and moved to Massachusetts to be with my boyfriend who was starting medical school. I didn't know what business jobs were at the time, but I decided that I would get one. I was ready to sit at a desk instead of hike and I was 90% confident that I could complete tasks at a computer all day. I started a career in the business side of healthcare at a pharmaceutical company and later worked at an electronic health records company in Boston. I spent most of my free time in Massachusetts attending dance classes, performing in local shows, and rehearsing with a small modern dance company.
In 2019, my boyfriend matched into a urology program in Dallas, TX, so last summer we moved to Dallas for a new adventure.
My current job... I am a marketing manager at a large private medical practice for primary care.
My family... I live with my boyfriend, Gianpaolo, who is a resident in Urology at UT Southwestern right now. We met our senior spring of college in genetics class. He cooks really good Italian food!
My favorite memory at Siuslaw... All the band trips and forensics trips!
Extra Fun Facts... I have an indoor herb garden with basil and parsley!

After High School... I went to LCC and became a massage therapist.
My current job... I co-own a retail store in Downtown Sandpoint.
My family... I married Cameron Thrall! We have two children, Valor & Vayla, 5 & 3 years old. So far the only pets we have are 16 chickens.

I'm Living... in Courbevoie, suburbs of Paris, France.
After High School... I got a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in the US before moving back to France permanently in August 2017.
My current job... Account Manager at Prenax.
My family... I married Jordan Phillippi on June 2nd, 2018. No kids, no pets (yet).
My favorite memory at Siuslaw... is my first football game at SHS against Newport.

After High School... I got my Bachelor's in Food Science Technology and Fermentation from OSU and graduated in 2015. I got my certificate in malting from The Institute of Brewing and Distilling- Logistics Management Certification.
My current job... Procurement Specialist/ Field Representative at Great Western Malt in Vancouver, WA.
My family... I've been with my girlfriend for a year now. No animals.
My favorite memory at Siuslaw... The graduation ;) Probably the day everyone did the soda chug at the Pep Assembly and everyone was projectile vomiting.
Extra Fun Facts... I've been traveling and have a trip planned for Bali at the end of September which probably won't happen. Other than that just riding motorcycles and picking up hobbies like ceramics and wood working.

My family... I married my husband, Drew Gauderman, July 6, 2014- gained bonus daughters Isabella & Olivia. October 23, 2016 we welcomed our daughter, Carter Jo, into the world (best day of my life). We have a zoo! A German Rottweiler named Bear, a Siamese Cat named Mr. Meowgi (Meow- Carter Jo named him), 8 chickens, a chipmunk who is 8 years old, and 2 fish.

After High School... I studied massage therapy though Everest Institute and landscape tech through PCC. I became a chef at Nike WHQ and MODA Center (Rose Garden).
My current job... Chef, construction worker, farm hand, and Alaskan commercial fisherman in the Bering Sea.
My family... I have one daughter. She just turned 2 on July 10th. Her name is Annukai Yahanna Yearout which means Goddess, Warrior, and Unity.

Extra Fun Facts... I lived in Hawaii for a bit and in Louisiana. I volunteer at soup kitchens and the Ronald McDonald House for terminally ill children's families.

We lost our Tahani in 2017 but she will always be remembered as a dear friend and classmate. Here are a few words from her mother.
Tahani was amazing, bright, loving, and kind. She had the best sense of humor. She loved binge watching Netflix and drinking coffee. She loved her dogs and cats. She had lots of ambition and ideas of what she wanted to do wither her life, that she never got to do.
